Personal Growth Is Now More Important Than Ever?

As a reader of Success Magazine, I am still intrigued by an article by Michael Pietrzak. Michael was right then and he is right today. Michael starts with a business joke.
Q If there are five frogs on a log and four of them decide to get off, how many frogs are left?
A The answer is five. Deciding is not taking action.
So, what action steps does Michael recommend you take now during this very tough pandemic?
The first thing he recommends you do is create a personal growth strategy, which includes:
1. Reflect on your life. Hold a mirror up to yourself and reflect on your anxieties and fears, your hopes and dreams, and review your situation with clarity.
2. Cultivate a growth mindset. Know that you’ll be a success and your success is insured.
3. Focus on the hustle, or as I like to rephrase it, put your head down and work. Start by focusing on what it is that you love doing, playing to your strengths, and focusing single mindedly on what it is that you can be the best in the world at.
Now is the time to partner with allies. With government regulations changing daily, it is impossible for you to keep up with everything that is going on. Have a group of trusted friends and advisors with whom you share vital information and strategies for success, those that can help with overcoming the obstacles before you. Get your own mastermind group or several of them and participate actively.
Managing your time is always an important strategy, but now when everyone and everything is in flux, you have to focus on your priorities each day, making sure you are focusing on the most vital tasks first.
On a personal level, now is the time to focus on your health and lose the extra weight, start or continue an exercise habit, and also make sure to take mental breaks throughout the day.
Focus on your mindset. The quality of your thoughts determines the quality of your life. Root out negative thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations.
Read everything you can about personal growth; watch personal development videos and YouTubes. Manage your cash and your personal relationships wisely. Cash is king, and you need to hold on to yours until there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Make sure to spend time appreciating your family and helping them to cope with the things in their lives and they will also help you with yours.
Finally, if you need help, get a coach. There are many skilled folks out there to help you improve and refine your business development skills.
Thank you, Michael Pietrzak for your great ideas. Let me know how you find his suggestions useful in your life.
